hi,my name is alex. i have a room for rent in my townhouse near ventura blvd in sherman oaks. i'm twenty one and male, and the other room is being rented to a female at the moment. i'm open to both male and female roommates (my only real preference is to find someone around my age). the room goes for $750/mo with a $750 deposit, and is available now. utilities are included in the rent(cable/dvr/internet).
about the building...
it's located at riverside and van nuys. if you're not real familiar with the area, that's less than a mile off of ventura blvd. the 101 freeway is a block away, and van nuys is only one exit from the 405. there are several grocery stores, a bunch of restaurants and a shopping mall within a mile (most are within a block or so). the building has only four units, and is on a cul de sac that dead-ends into a park. the building and street are nice and quiet. the room has a window that overlooks the park, and shares a bathroom. the room is not furnished, but the rest of the house is. we have laundry in the unit, a good sized kitchen, a living room and a dining room, besides the three bedrooms (which are all on the second level). i should mention that there's a dog (my roommate's) living with us at the moment. she's a 10 year old golden lab, and is very sweet.
about me...
i'm twenty-one. i work full time, and i'm usually out of the house from 8 am until 8 pm. i work for a gourmet food import company, and am a foodie above all else. i like to have a couple of friends over a couple nights a week, but no real parties, and i don't make much noise. though i know that it's not possible to find this for sure, i'd like to find a roommate who does more than fill the room and stay out of the way. i'd like a roommate who is interested in hanging out every once in a while.
